is there any way i can stop my wireless internet from inteferring with my 2.4ghz wireless keyboard? i cant see any way of changing the channels about?

There should be some options in the config page of your wireless router to change the wireless chaneel the router works on. You normally web browse to your router config page using the IP address of the router.
Whate make and model router have you got ? check the manual for how to access the config pages and change the wireless channel. Some newer routers have a feature called Clear Channel select whereby they automatically scan channels and pick the one thats free.

You need to go into your router setup pages and thats where you will find the channel selection .
