Has anyone got a link for free version of Winrar or similar. Had to do a new install of windows so lost a few programs. Thanks

I don't really use office but the other halve may need it, so will give LibreOffice a go. Thanks again

Clocking for downloads happens all the time but it would be nice to see new members try to be a bit more inventive. Had you expanded only slightly on that comment I'm quite sure it wouldn't have been seen as a clock.

I agree with you guys about post clocking, what some don't realise it's more beneficial to get it right. After that the enormity of info on here has yet to be surpassed.

You can get WinRAR for free on their website, as well as 7-Zip here.
I agree about this, but I still use both.
I've used many office/word alternatives before.Just installed it. Just need Word now. Thanks @spud1966
As @spud1966 said, LibreOffice is a nice alternative, but I'd prefer WPS Office.
Whilst it isn't open source, it does look (and feel) a lot more like office by default, but is also free.
Seems that as of writing this, LibreOffice is around 340 MB, whilst WPS is around 220 MB (According to FileHorse).
OnlyOffice is exactly like Microsoft Word. But for free and open source.Just installed it. Just need Word now. Thanks @spud1966
