wii games not working`

ive burnt the games at 2x using img burn
verbatim dvd-r

installed latest softmii


every time a game loads, it says game disc could not be read, refer to manual

plz help

if worse comes to the worst, do it all from scratch.

for now, disable Force Disc Region in preloader. if that fails, reinstall cios 249.wad (something like that).

hopefully u used 2.1.1 and latest tut

What software are you burning with, that can make a diifference

Not all burning software is as compliant as the rest


Try IMGBurn if you haven't already, its 100% freeware and more importantly it works and produces very compatable burns

Just remember to change the burn speed otherwise it will burn at the medias maximum which may be to quick, are you sure you have told the software to burn at x2. Some software thinks it knows best and ignores what you tell it to burn at


I can burn at x8 with zero issues, on x16 DVD-R DataWrites. Verbs shouldn't give any issues, unless they are fake verbs .... it happens

ive just come across this on a wii ive not even started modding yet, and ive modded a few with softmii, so im led to believe its could be a faulty drive as the first thing i did before even attempting to mod was try a original disk and got this error

it used to work but now not even originals work

i dont now how to do step 12) the one about softmii nand browser properly
but i dont think that matters

i am using imgburn ive even been burning at 2x

also where can i find the wad to erase all hacks so i can start again???

Untick the test and verify boxes mate that worked for me

Maybe you could try to clean the disc-drive, the lens could be dirty.

this has happened with two wii's now
so both drives cant be dirty, they were working perfectly with gamma loader

so you've used the latest softmii and it used to work but now originals don't work .... which originals ?

to start again go from the any region changer downgrade , will clean up ur system to start again (the softmii install). if your not happy with it mate do it the old way.
