Hi,Im after a wired router, anybody recommend one.dont really want to go wireless for sercurity reasons

What security issues are you worried about? Unless you intend to transfer secret data and advertise the fact that you are, you're unlikely to have anyone trying to hack your network. Besides which, you can enable MAC filtering and make it harder for people who do want to hack you.

Wired routers are pretty much the same these days I think. Obviously don't buy a stupidly cheap one, go for Netgear or Linksys or something. Anything over £40 is expensive for a wired routeri n my opinion. Depends how many ports you want though I suppose.

If you are going for a network, consider a router which has a printer port so each pc can use the one printer.
Also, why not get a wireless one which also uses wired connections and that way you "future proof" your system for when you have enough confidence in wireless security.
