Hi ppl

whats the best budget pda to buy to use soley for sat nav....?

Thanks

i bought an "acer n35" for £90, this has a built in satellite receiver. it is very good for the money, but i must say 'the more you pay generally the better the item'. I also have a dell on which the quality is fantastic but cost 4 times the price!

sat nav

try to get either a hp1940 or hp2210.
are both bluetooth or can use wired sat aerial.

i use a mio 350p it is an excellent piece of kit running tomtom 6 on it with no problems at all would recomend to anyone as a very good satnav. sanyo

i would go with a mio 168 you can pick them up for about 100 pounds now and that all you need as it has a buit in gps receiver my mi0 168 is runing tomtom 6 and it working great

I love the IMate Jams for PDA sat nav and Mobile Phone all in one...

or the Fujitsu-Siemens Pocket Loox N100 just for Sat Nav its tiny

If going for an expensive pda just for sat nav though, its probably better to go for a standalone tomtom unit instead, if your never going to use the PDA features, otherwise I would just recommend a good phone you can use both as a Mobile and as Sat Nav, e.g Nokia N80 - TomTom Mobile 6

I would say an HP HX4700 - the VGA display makes it all worth the cost and TT6 looks brilliant on it.
