Whats Software

finally got my all in wonder 9800 back online

so now have terestial tv available.. hoever upon further inspection seems to have a tuner that works with catv as well

only problem is i have no software to view the capture..

what would ya guys recommend and from where (free if poss)

if it's a cable card mate then i've just set up DVB Dream and DVB Viewer, also media portal all though getting softcam to run in that is proving a little difficult.....how ever softcam works great in DVB - Dream......hope this is what you mean...;

gonna try dvb dream but only running a 1gig machine atm so just playing abouyt getting the tuner running..

gotta getsome more coax and plug into the cable feed to try yet as not 100% if it works on the cable network

ProgDVB is free and very compatible. Not very good, though, but it should be able to give you an idea about whether your card will really do cable or not.

Your card may only be analogue CATV compatable so you won't have much joy i'm afraid.
