I want to buy my son an x box for crissy.
have a ps2 but proberbly modified wrongley as i have to swap disk to play backups plus it tends not to save games and wont find the memory card sometimes. this tends to be on sports games.



what is the best mod for the job and what can i expect to pay for console upgraded. can i also get direct play (no disc swap) with certain mods to play backups, and i want to save games thats why ime fed up with the ps2. he tends to play a lot of football and strategy shoot em up.
are backups growing in numbers and popularity?
i want to know before i go and buy and are told different.


is your service avalable at bowlers?

Your PS2 prob sounds like you dont have the 'Patched' games.

As for the x-box, you cant fall off with an Enigmah, the cheapest and all round best solution. No disc swapping and everything supported.

However X-Box's have new PCB boards in as of August 2002, so a new mod-chip is required on the later models. This is due out anyday now

Bowlers no, but it is done there if that is close too you I would recommend it. Posting to me could be costly.
