If you are thinking of taking up Kayaking this summer but you don't want to spend £300-500 for a half decent Kayak. There is an alternative option you can get an inflatable Kayak. But the problem with these boats is that they cant be upgraded with things like GPS units or fishing rod holders. Well I found a way that you can do this. By going to the plumbers merchants and buying just a few lengths of 32mm PVC pipe and some 90' bends you can make rod holders and out riggers for extra stability. The whole thing only cost me an extra £11 on top of the £60 for the kayak. If you really like the sport and want more from it. Upgrade to a better unit, but in the meantime use this little hack to try it out and see if its for you.
This is the Kayak that I upgraded its a K1 Challanger
