UK Netfix from outside UK

Hi Guys. i have a friend who lives in australia (lucky sod) and he would like to watch uk netflix. am i right in thinking he needs to change his dns address to a uk one? if so does he have to change it in the netflix settings or his router settings. thanks for the help.

Didn't know you could change netflix settings, is he watching it on his pc? if so it would be router if it was wireless, or he could change it in the pc if he was wired.

I haven't used Netflix before but do remember a DNS change for us content. He is using a TV but I was wondering if it worked or not. If there are no settings on Netflix then it must be the routers DNS that needs to be changed.

Is the DNS way free though?

He can download the Hola extension on Chrome and then switch countries to watch.
