Travel around london- Oyster card?

Hi Guys

Im in london for the Liam Gallagher gig and staying til the monday, I will only be using zone 2 tubes. Not knowing anything about the city or TFL could someone explain the cheapest method for me?

Just use your credit card. One tap for the buses. Tap in, tap out for the tube.

Everything works with contactless, credit card, debit card, Google pay and Apple pay.
Things to note, make sure you tap out on the way out of the tube, even if the gates are open, otherwise you'll be charged for going to the end of the line.
Each person in the group needs a different card. I.e. you can't tap it three times at the start of the journey to let three people on ( true of the sub, not sure on the buses).
And they are trying to phase out the other forms of payment, so using your own card is slightly cheaper.
