Anybody got this type of policy ??

I have heard that some companies do offer it but dont know who yet.

Never heard of a company that will insure you TPFT and give you DOC (Drive Other Cars).

Your only TP if you crash whilst driving DOC, is that what you mean?

no m8, i am the same as you thinking they never done this cover, but have recently heard a couple of people explaining that they where TPFT and also had DOC which i thought was strange myself.

im insured with quin direct

tpft and on my policy it says i can drive other cars with owners permition and covered to minimum requirement by law as third party

but car has to have road tax
and has to have its own insurance

i drive my dads merc somtimes been pulled twice but showed a copy of my policy and my dads policy

they said sorry 4 wasting ur time

I used to have this with Bell - I think it was something like £35 extra per year.

Everyone is posting they have DOC, is this an assumption that all people over 25 are automatically allowed to have DOC??

I used to work for Bell, and DOC is not offered to every single customer, so if your working on an assumption I would check with your insurer if you have DOC on your policy, as its not an automatic thing.

It may only cover for injury to people and not for damage to property.
You can't use it to drive other cars regularly.
That's what I was lead to understand.
