When you use the addon 002 you can connect to "the internet" as a newcamd client or CCcam client using an ethernet cable (network cable rj45)
You do not need the windows sharing pack for a tm5402hd. This is mostly used by People who do not have an ethernet connection in their Satellite receiver.
When you do not have an ethernet connection available in yr satellite receiver you can connect by means of a serial NULL modem cable connected to the serial port of yr PC/Laptop. The sharing pack will communicatie with the satellite receiver by using the protocol SSSP. (simple serial sharing protocol i think) ANyway
VPlug, HADU, HDVB come into my mind, they are capable of emu, cccam gbox, newcamd and can also connect you to a specifiek server by using the internet connection of the laptop/pc.
The tm5402 with Phantom patch emulates almost everything vplug does(no need for vplug or a sharing pack by serial as this is already in the patched firmware ).
