TM-600 Zapstream auto start

Hi,

I'm trying to edit the file "inetd.conf" located in the "root/etc" folder

Has anyone been able to do this? perhaps there is a image I don't know about with this file edited already.

Basicly trying to add this line to the file "31344 stream tcp nowait root /var/sbin/zapstream zapstream -ts"

What would this achieve? I'd like to learn.

As far as I am aware, that part of memory is read only.

Hi, and sorry for the late reply.

Then I would not have to start the stream service via telnet if I would have to restart the receiver remotely.

And yes from what I can gather that part of the memory is locked.

I wish there was a way to get rtmp stream from the receiver.
