Streaming HD Content Turbo IPTV Box

Hi all, I recently purchased a subscription IPTV Box from ********. I tried to plug it into an RF Modulator with a scart adapter (Lead that comes is CVBS to the 3 coloured components). With this set up it played the picture but couldn't get a sound for it. I plugged it directly into the Tv and it worked OK. I then plugged the HDMI cable and tried to stream and it was breaking up. The Broadband speed it a good 25-30 meg. I had used a 20m Ethernet Cable? Would this have reduced the quality of the stream? If I were to use a 20M HD Cable and have the box plugged directly to the router (Ie a good quality short cable) Was this stabilise the stream? Any advice would be appreciated.
