Stars...

toss up between Peter Beardsley and Alan Shearer
Both local boys who fulfilled every geordies lifelong ambition running out at st james and winning nothing....lol

my sons middle name is beardsley ... think the wife was still on drugs when she let me do that...

Johnny Metgod, old Notts Forest player, saw him take a free kick against west ham, think the ball is still travelling!!!!

Also a guy called madalini from italy, best foul ever, he jumped up and two footed someone in the chest, pure class!

Jim Baxter 1967 when Scotland became 'world champions' for a day Scotland won 3-2 that day against the World Cup winners and Baxter ran the show, mocking the English team with all manner of trickery.

Ivan "the not so terrible" Mauger.

Speedway's 6 time world champion. Winning it the first time in 1968 (whilst a Diamond :) ). Last time in 1979.

His record is probably going to be equalled this year (26 years later). But Ivan is my favourite all time STAR/DIAMOND :).

Pic below.
