I started fermenting it on Wednesday. Just been taking the SG there, it really started getting going at about 45 hours.
I thought I'd started it a bit warm (28C) and after a day the bin was at 26C with an external temperature of about 22C in the room there wasn't much happening though. It's a bit warm now at 29C there so I've exposed the bin a bit more (got it sort of covered in a bin liner in a box in case anything bad happens).
Think I messed up the first SG reading but Thursday was 1.070 and tonight is 1.040 with plenty of activity. Smells nice .
