Sons just got himself a Wii s/n starts with LEH1796, Nintendo Scene reckons

There is a 50% chance that your drive chip is a GC2-D2C

There is a 50% chance that the pins on your drive chip are not cut.

So what chip can I use to open the Wii up Been reading about the WiiKey but to be honest I am totally unsure what will work and what won't.

Right been reading about this, never even knew about the Argon chip so I'll have a further read but what are peoples opinion on the D2Pro? Found a place where I can get a 15 wire version for 33 euros?

wiikeys are for early wii consoles, pre LEH134#####

consoles now, need more advanced chip eg. argon, D2Pro etc...
