Sony Blue Ray multi region

lastweek i bought my new ps3 and sony 52" W series and even got a sony 300 series blue ray player thrown in with the deal too.
I am really impressed with the quality & functions of the setup.

Problem is I cant watch any of my region 1 dvds, is there anyway of making the ps3 or the S300 multi region compatible.
