I am moving into a new house in a week or so and i wanted to get sky bb and telephone. I though i would have to have B.T. (spit) connect up my line as its a new build. I phoned Bt to arrange and they quoted something like £150 for line connection. I said well it has to be done but told them i only wanted their line as i was going with sky for telephone package and bb as i had probs in the pst the Bt.
Well something good came out of it lol the bt girl told me that because it was a new line that i could get sky to do it as they use open reach as well.
I told her ta and see ya and phoned sky.
They are gonna fit Hd multi room and my phone line for a total install cost of £46 and the line renatal is free for the first 3 months. BB is free for upto 2 meg and i get free eve weekend calls.
Have also been told open reach will install phone sockets were i want them but tbh i shouldnt need additionals.
So three cheers to sky and to bt get it up ya as i will never deal with that useless shower of incompitants again lol
