Shut Down when Burning DVD fILMS

Hi all,

Just a quick one regarding burning a film to a DVD, i have a really good custom built Computer and without boring you with all the specs i have suddenly been hit with a shut down problem, every time i try to use any type of burning program my whole system just simply shuts down? As i am totally up to speed with how to burn movies and the fact that for 2 years its never been a problem i am completely baffled by this, oh and also i bought windows XP because i hated a lot of other Op systems.

Power supply would be my first suggestion too.

However, always worth checking dust levels in the case. Dust is an insulator. writing to disc generates heat. Too much heat will trigger thermal protection.
