My folks are going through this at the moment with my grandad, He's 93 just recovering from his second hip operation and lived in a council house.
Now been told the state will pay £250 pw towards a home for him his pension has to go to it and the rest will have to be paid by my parents.
Thats the way they treat a bloke that served his country for 5 yrs against German u boats , Russian convoys and Japanese kamikaze's worked untill his late 60's ..makes you sick.
