scanning

hi guys,

Right i see people scanning and saying they are finding loads of transponders like 50 or more whenever i scan i only seem to find about 28, i dont know whether im getting all channels but i do get all the channels i watch so not a problem.

Just basically wondering why i dont find many, im in pure ntl with sportster pro atm, bruteforse only finds about 30 transponders also.

Check your cable feed doesnt have any attenuators inline with it, make sure the cable goes direct into the wall, also if ur using the new sportster image make sure ur using the correct sportster scanning setup(read the menu help when you goto the sporster setup). O and turn fast scan off when you scan too.
give that a go and see how you get on

fast scan is turned off, and its been the same on any image ive tried, like i said it isnt a problem since i do seem to get all the channels...all the ones i need anyway.

yep got a service file from here also. I seem to be getting everything, but who knows lol
