samsung hdtv digital

hi guys
never been in this section before
need a few pointers from all you boffs if you dont mind helpin a fellow modder
my friend has just had a brand new samsung hdmi digital lcd tv
it has freeview and a card slot
does anyone know the process (if any) of getting all the channels to work on this tv i.e. what kinda card do i need and how would i go about programming it.....
any pointers would be helpful....

Is the card slot you are talking about a Common Interface Slot (CA Card)?

This isn't needed for UK Freeview.

Just plugin in your aerial (in loft or on top of house roof), select your digital input (DTV) and do an automatic channel scan.
