I thought it had to be a 'smart phone' or a phone with a Symbian OS, i.e. Nokia.

Hi,

You can not have the TomTom on the Samsung D600,

the link above is for the TomTom Go's that can connect to the mobile phone, so it can read the contacts and use the internet.

well the basic thing is about mobile navigation it has to be a 3rd generation phone, either running symbian OS or windows mobile, and you will also need a GPS reciever which is paired to the phone via bluetooth (cost from 24 to £70) to be able to run tomtom mobile5 on a mobile phone.
