safe to read v+

Hi all, is it safe to try and read a V+ card before it has been glitched, it will not be going back online. thanks.

but in answer no it will give you a read error

Wow quick reply, cheers mate. It's not subbed. I need to get bk and ird from it and don't wont to mess the card up before I can get it. Is it likely to be locked?

if you read that locked card it will mark it just glitch it first then read in nagra

If its been subbed anytime in the last 3-4 years then its certain to be locked.

If its been online anytime after the sub expired then its very likely to have had the boxkey etc erased. Thats standard practice these days.

Attempting to read whilst locked wont actually destroy any info but it will permanently mark the card making it vulnerable to a future attack.

Which would be the best unlooper to get I've done some reading and it seems like the t911. Is this right? What software would I need? Thanks again.

I'm told it was taken offline when sub still existed. Here's to hoping he aint lying.
