hi everyone, Happy new year

fixed my video no sound about 2 months ago by doing the xclamp fix, recently im getting RROD with a 0022 error, a bit unusual as its taking about 45seconds after power on to show the error.

tried new thermal paste and reflow but still same, im googling and getting answers of GPU, just wondering if anyone else has had or knows if this can be sorted or is it looking at a reball?

Dont fancy paying 50quid for a reball as its an arcade phat. Thats why i asked lol

Hiya mate, if i remember correctly a 0022 error can be a burnt out gpu chip, not defiantely but can be, so a gpu replacement would be needed, for amount it costs not worth doing mate, you say you tried reflowing it , how did you reflow it mate ?

just did the xclamp and then let the gpu over heat for 45 mins with the fan keeping the cpu cool, worked last time but this time its not, so thinking you could be right m8..new gpu
