Im trying to replace this plug, as you can see it comes with a laptop style dc jack socket...lol, i can't even think what you call this type of socket but the diameter of the hole is 6mm and the size of the pin is 2mm, i measured it with verniers...
My second issue is regarding these battery lights, the holder is terrible quality, particularly the toggle on/off switch, i wonder if you can get a quality battery holder i can swap over, the lights are decent...

Im also trying to fix a set of lights built into the small cone christmas tree, if i can replace them with good led lights i will buy may prove awkward...are fairy lights easy to fix, I've replaced the fuse....
