I am trying to record from a 500c to a file share on a windows 7 PC.
In the past I had a XP PC and setup a file share and then pointed the dreambox at that share and everything was working fine.
I've now upgraded the PC to Windows 7 and done the same thing and no joy.
Another XP PC can connect so I know the problem is not the share, I am guessing W7 has increased security for non-windows PC because my xbox running XBMC is having the same problem (though not so much of an issue as the new PC is now my media centre).
I am think that I either need to install something on the PC that emulate NFS share, or have some other software on the PC that the dreambox connects to that is not SMB.
Any thoughts or has anybody managed to get dreambox to W7 recording working ?
