I've got fire Angel linked smoke alarms.
One was beeping every minute to indicate flat batteries even when mains on .
I have disconnected/ removed the batteries and ordered new from online.
My problem I have is reconnecting.it says the batteries are not replaceable as I'm presuming because they were spot welded (seemed like it) and I used Stanley to disconnect .
The units are discontinued now but only 5 yrs old and don't want hassle of replacing different type.
Would conductive glue do the job?
Cheers Chronoman

A lot of these alarms are disposable ones now after so long for safety reasons. I suppose you could use glue but the question is will it be good enough? Will it be safe?. I personally would think about changing it m8. Best to be safe than sorry. Other components may fail after the 5 year term. One life Chronoman think first.
