US rapper The Game has been arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest in a shopping centre in North Carolina.
The Game, 25, protested, claiming: "I got arrested for signing autographs."
According to poilice, the star and his friends were behaving disruptively and loudly swearing. At one point the rapper’s friends were said to have surrounded them threateningly, forcing them to use pepper spray.
The Game told a US TV station afterwards: "They thought I was Rodney King, man. It was a case of mistaken identity."
