My PS3 just packed up after a few hours of MW2, it refused to even start or let me have my game back.(if this happens to you turn off at the back hold eject and turn back on voila!)
Went to the Game store where the PS3 was purchased only to be told as it was outside of a years purchase I had to send it to Sony to be fixed at a cost of £150!! (Sainsburys currently selling the slim with 120gb for £200!!)
After dealing out much abuse to a spotty sales assistant I went home to find Games head office details(Not that easy)
After eventually finding the right info and quoting the sales of goods act 1979 many times(goods sold should be of satisfactory condition and value) I got them to collect via courier,fix ps3, and return via courier, for free!!
