I just chipped it and now it wont play original games only copies why anyone know?

which chip did u use standard or one chip when u say ps 0ne i assume u are talking about the little one right and not the grey one

Sounds like its either an old chip (link wire missing) or old code inside the chip.??

Thats what I think....just make sure all the wires are solderd correctly...its very easy to miss a mistake as the joints are so small

This could be many things;<br />Chip<br />Old chip<br />scratched track on the main board <br />Lazer<br />but most commanly its the chip not been installed right ie: a wire missing<br />If your looking for the best hex for the PS1 check out my site (its called one hex) it 8 wires though.

yep sounds like it might be wired wrong or an old chip u should use the onechip or u will have to boot import backups with a pal game and do a switch at the psx sign.

yes its the link wire check the conections on this

take it out and put in the 8 wire mod + link at the back. you'll play all copies (pal/ntsc) in colour
