ok problem is ....i have a baby programmer and im using ic prog.......i can read my eeprom perfectly...but when i go to program it fails on the verify.......at the first address that has information.....ie it isnt programming chip......id assume because it is reading its something to do with either hardware or software configuration.................ie port settind etc.....so to recap using a serial baby programmer tring to program 24lc256....using icprog.....reads device okay....but will not program...fails staright away on verifcation.....obviolsly chip is in correctly as im getting a good read...your help is highly appreciated
