If your error message is precise then the problem is your current folder. There is a difference between an absolute /media/Front-disk..... and a relative media/front-disk.... which would be a sub-directory of the current folder - and probably not exist.
Try doing it manually as that gives better feedback. Open a telnet session and type ipkg --help for a full set of instructions
