problem installing tom tom

I have purchased a sirfatlasV windows CE6.0 sat nav from china with the intention of installing tom tom onto it. when i copy the mobile navigater and map folders across though and hit the navigate button to get to the activation failed screen all that comes up is the tomtom One splash screen and it freezes on that.

Any ideas why this can be?
