Following the recent introduction of a placeholder on Freeview, price-drop.tv has started to broadcast on the platform.

price-drop.tv, sister channel to Bid-Up.TV which has been available on Freeview Channel 23 since early 2003, is available to Freeview viewers on Channel 24. The channel is being broadcast from the Digital3&4 Ltd mux - previously used exclusively by ITV and C4 (Mux 2).

Unlike other 'auction' channels, price-drop.tv gradually decreases the price of the items it sells during the course of each 'lot', until such time as all available items in the 'lot' have been sold.

Freeview viewers may be required to perform a channel scan/retune in order to receive the new channel.

Nah! Don't think I'll bother.
