That's happened a few times over here and a fair few end users got letters saying stop using now or else the TeleBobbies are coming to turn your WheelerDealers off. Your best bet is VPN, now I know there'll be payment details held by the arrested guy of those who've paid him but the Police don't have the recourses to start chasing up everyone who bought a sub via his numerous payment methods.

Sky might send out a few letters to sh*t people up if some of their IP's turn up on the list or Virmin but reports like the above are purely to scaremonger and it will work for some.

As an example, when the police raid a drugs den do they try to arrest all the end users ?. IPTV's like a phoenix when one goes down another 10 pop up in its place. There's school kids in their bedrooms running panels for £10 a year to their m8's and their Dads.

This is in Italy, they are after it big time there.
