Play DVD

A friend updated his 360 elite with the new dash and now every time he puts a disc in (original or copy) the xbox says PLAY DVD only and will not play any games.
He has a LiteOn 74850C drive flashed with LT+

The update was taken while LT+ was on it.

Any help please....

I'm still new to this scene, but from what I have I have heard the new dash detects your flash and reverts the firmware??

The new dash reverts the FW back to original but it should still play original games, all he gets is 'Play DVD' when he puts an original in

Nope, boots up normally.
