aaarrgghh
Went to my parents house in E17 and they have residential parking.. Their next door neighbour who died 10 years ago had a disabled parking bay in front of her house and the new neighbour is not disabled..
Now people have been parking there for 10 years and no-one has eve received a ticket..
Everytime I or anyone else who visits my parents use parking permits.
Today I put two 5 hours and one 2 hour permits but was given a ticket for contravention 16 "Parked in a permit space without displaying a valid parking permit". So I took pictures of my permits and the car's position.
If I want to enquire about this - I have to wait for the notice to owner that comes after 4-5 weeks in order to get the contact details but by that time I no longer have the chance to pay the £40 but have to pay the full £80.
I've always paid the penalty before even when I think I was hard done by but this time I think they've gone over the top and I'm going to contest it right to the end....
What do you think guys? Any ideas or thoughts?
thanks
ps sorry if the wrong place to put this...
