im from japan and would like to know if the box will work in japan and if so what advantages i will have. in other words i would like to know if it works with skyperfectTV in japan and if i buy the box do i still have to keep my contract with my conotent provider or not.

I really have no idea but here is the email address of the factory sales manager you can ask them about your country and unless there are card sharing servers in japan then you will not get any advantages
