Open to anyone who wanted to come but arranged via uly. They are/were
usually held in Leeds mainly because it's central and easy to get to but
I've been to ones in Harrogate, Hull and Huddersfield.

Unfortunately contrary to the beliefs of the uly trolls no virgins
danced naked at these events, a sheep did turn up once but thankfully
left virgo intacto :)

The worst that happened was the smoking of the odd Moroccan Woodbine in
the bog or someone throwing a pint on the floor, Hello Doug :)

Whatever :) It still worries me that I didn't even realise that I had
done that :)

I remember smoking an "odd Moroccan Woodbine" outside the window of
the Whore and Strumpet

<g> Not my favourite series, that one, and as for Enterprise.... gah,
twaddle. Deep Space Nine was excellent, and I am an original Classic Trek
fan. It went far wider than TV, though; I was a committee member for the '95
Worldcon, which is bookish and has a heavy science base.

Just to heave this mildly on topic, we used to use the Dragonara Hotel in
Leeds before it was, what, a Hilton? Lovely staff.
