Hopefully its just the ntl:200 modem that needs the firmware update

from what I've heard thats what the firmware update is for donno if its true but without it the max you get on that would be 5mbit

From wot i have red chaps all 1 meg will be uped to 3meg free of charge, so if you get 1meg for say 9.99 dolla you will get 3 meg for your 9.99 dolla. Sounds good to me as im on the 1 meg and 3 for the same money would do me nicely, and all 3meg well go up to 10meg for the same dolla.

This come from nthell home page some time ago so i no its no bull.

Sounds good to me only wish i had got the 3 meg now insted of the 1 lol. ? wot u lot recon.

I think what you have to bear in mind when you get your broadband is the download caps.

1mb would have been enough for me but 3gb per month is shocking, especially with the amount of TV I download!

So I was forced to go 2mb to get 30gb/month

ive been on ntl 2mb 30gb for a month and a bit now, upgrade from the 56k dail-up, and ive still not been charged... if i ask for an upgrade do i risk having to pay.
