New gfx card

Looking for a new gfx card , not sure what to go for but it must be a low profile card willing to pay upto £150 , not a mad gamer but would be good to have something to run some of the newer games and not look like an 8-bit game lol

any sugestions are welcome as its a bit of a mine field out there.

Which games? What is the ventilation on the case like? Gaming is one of the most stressful things you can put a graphics card through, and low profile cards tend to dump heat into the case rather than exhaust it out the back.

For what it's worth, not all low profile cards come with a low profile bracket.

it needs to be low profile to fit into my case ( antec htpc ) which does take full size bracket , looking at most cards the dimensions mean they wont fit.

game wise , just stuff in general and i understand that it wont be able to be all singing and dancing in my price range , but its got to be a lot better than my onboard ati radeon HD 3000 GPU lol

ventilation is just the 2 large fans in the case

went with the powercolour , working great on max payne 3 even if it is running a little hot , just need to shove another fan to exhaust a bit of the heat
