go for the usb2 version..i have one for the laptop but uses high power..ie:1ghz cpu and about 256 meg of ram..but is xtraview/redhot compatable

thanks for the advice tony19652002 i have just orderd one for £99.95 so i will be looking forward to getting to use it .
do you use the software that comes with it or do you use 3rd party software ?
Cheers .. Darrin

ive been using the software that comes with it..also you can use a usb phonix as a card reader with it..annother words if you have a genuine topup t.v card your usb2 device will decode it for you.using a software called poormans cam..how cool is that?..so 3rd party software can be used..infact i carnt falt it in anyway..its a must have toy for people like us. it was sent 1st class on the same day of ordering for me..and verified with an e-mail to say its on its way..urll love it

Good evening

I have just ordered the PCI version from h**p://www.pcvideo.co.uk for £101 delivered.
Have a look at the Nebula webpage for the complete UK distributers.

Best Regards

Has anyone tried one of these on linux? I'm very tempted to build myself a backend mythtv server since I have a spare computer at the moment. There's very little information about UK DTT around though.

just ordered mine too so lets hope i can help you guys with the codes ;)

Whats the picture quality like on these tv cards as i'm thinking of buying one ? i've been looking on nebulas site and the pictures look a bit pixellated though imo.

do the tv cards compress the picture or produce a lower resolution than watching it on a normal TV ? and Is there any difference between the PCi and USB2 in picture quality

100% m8 you cant go wrong with these cards. usd or pci version both very good

well i think its time to get a card and have a play.

I took delivery of the USB model last Friday and I must confess it's
a very neat little toy. Smaller than I imagined but now with an
Infinity Pheonix is watching TopupTV without issue.

Well recommended,

Morning

I think Ive made a booboo. I got to excited and bought a Hauppauge WinTV-Nova-T PCI card. Is this able to do XVRV?

Tnx Regards

You can view RedHot and XtraView free by manually editing the PID values in the channel database.

If you want to do MHEG dumps for the keygen you will need to spend £20 on additional software.
