hiya buddy just trying to find the system.sh file and i cannot when i go to etc/oscam folder there are only 3 files in there
oscam.conf
oscam.user
oscam.dvbapi

the conf file does not have a telnet line?

the cross epg log states the below which may be related to what you suggested with the telnet settings

Thanks ks for all the help I think j may need to re-imagw tbh I have a few days off I will look unto reading up how to do it as I never have b4 I am computer savy but never attempted a sat box so if you have any tips or links and advise on what image your using could you pm.me please.

I use Hyperion V4 NAND for my main image its good solid reliable image

im currently testing Hyperion V 5.1 beta USB image so far its been ok

thanks for the info just read the 14 pages on the link and sounds like something i can do, one thing if i want to leave my image as it is at the minute but try and create the USB image can i choose on boot which one to use? this will save me wiping my sort of working system and practice on the USB version?

you cant choose on boot like on a PC but you can select what image to boot from.....NAND for internal flash.....USH1 for rear USB. so you can leave the image you have now but I don't think you will be able to create the usb image.....the image you have as from what I remember it has no blue panel

also you will need to change the boot loader to run Hyperion
