The National Geographic Channel has launched its first ever interactive service on Telewest Broadband.
The service - accessible through the 'TV Home'; area - includes informational areas promoting channel highlights, quizzes, competitions and features drawn from the channel website.
“We are committed to delivering intelligent factual entertainment to as many viewers as possible around the globe," said George Jeffrey, MD of National Geographic Channel Europe. "This interactive service will provide viewers with a direct link into an informative, engaging service. The integrated viewing experience will enable a two way relationship between broadcaster and viewer, providing a truly interactive relationship.”
National Geographic Interactive will also be available via the red button by the end of the year.
