More Karaoke Conversions
CDG2AVI is a small program that will allow you to play karaoke on your vcd/dvd player. It converts cdg files into avi files using any installed codec of your choice.
You take an mp3+g file (which is 2 files really, the mp3 and the cdg file both with the same name) lets call them song.mp3 and song.cdg. Convert the cdg to avi and then convert the mp3 to wav. Now run Tmpge and input your avi file for video source and your wav file for audio source. Correct settings to svcd or vcd and Give it an output mpg filename. You can now burn this new movie karaoke file to disk.
Mp3+g files available from Newgroups or rip your own from karaoke disk using Cdg Ripper, now available on my site. Your Cdrom must be able to read cd+g.
