So.. the concept is that you will not be able to install it in your computer? Is only for cloud servers?

I was lucky enough to be one of the people whom MS gave access to test this for past few months

Basically this desktop or VDI is hosted on Azure and you use Remote Desktop client to connect.

It supports pass thru USB devices like headsets and video camera's in Teams (need to install Azure Media Optimisation pack)

Well yes i think , there is a phone wich is « cloud only » , wich is very thin but it eat wifi or cellular data very fastly, so now its a... thin laptop..

its hosted on Azure and you can access the VDI with any device that supports the remote client software (Windows, Mac, Android etc)
