You wanted to bring this to your attention, any of you PC fans were into the originals, well Pirahna games have been working on a new Mechwarrior Game (not the tactics 1) its an 8v8 (soon to go 12v12) is graphically stunning and is great fun.

It is now in open beta and you can sign up to play, even run voice comms etc

well i suppose if you want to invest money in it, but i havent, and there is no benefit to pay really, they bring out the hero mechs that they cost money for, but i have taken plenty of them out with the mechs i have got that didnt involve any cash on my end. I think for any1 that likes the mech warrior franchise its great fun, and it is free to paly

I tried it, but I was disappointed. It seems like they are kind of leaving the battletech universe in the dust. Its just another pay to win shooter anymore.
