Lets be honest here,we were playing the 2nd best team in England and we have a transfer budget of less than £10.
You didnt really create much and have only yourselves to blame, 10 changes from a team which really should have put the match on Saturday to bed (but didnt)...why 10 changes...did you lot think you would just walk over the Gers ???
Its not as if it was batton down the hatches for the Gers....far from it, it was relatively easy to get that point, but tbh....it should have been a home banker for you lot.
like most teams who come to old trafford, rangers had a game plan of packing the defence & midfield and then let utd utd throw everything at them... majority of times we'd break em down but just didnt happen and credit to rangers for a very resolute performance...
fergie has to take the blame 100%. poor selection and 10 foookin changes... leaving out berbatov and nani who have been brill so far was a mistake. no creativity in the middle with park, gibson and fletcher. fergie's been makin a few cock ups with the selection over the last 9-10 months, too much tinkering for no apparent reason.... and after the injury to valencia which horrendous, all in all its been a sh!t night tbh!

Didnt really expect a rangers to come and play football or the score could well have been a big one. Bit dissapointed that the gers didnt see the utd team sheet and make a fist of it (feeling they might of left with more points had they). Valencia looks to have snapped that ankle quite bad, his foot was on the wrong way round when he hung his left leg in the air.
Can well understand fergies team selection (cant see it needing the standard 10 points to get outta this group). Team selection with the weekends game in mind, ask yourself who would you rather beat ??

Didnt expect anythingelse from Rangers, they accepted they probably had no chance of beating us even with all those changes and exercised their defensive plan well but cant give them all the credit as we were far from our best.
Hopefully they will play a little more at their home ground giving us more space to attack in.

yea but even with those 10 changes we controlled the game.. but just didnt have the extra spark that we needed.. something in midfield was missing.. credit where credit is due.. you kept us out for the 90 mins..

as much as i agree that the lpool game on sunday is more important, i believe that u should go out and play ur best team in every game. injuries are part and parcel of the game and this early on in the season and no one needs a rest especially when the next game is 4 and a half days away.... the 3 away games are going to be very tough... valencia are a decent side even without villa & silva and the atmosphere at ibrox and especially in turkey for the buraspor(sp?) game is gona be defeaning.... all the more reason to take maximum points from ur home games and try and top the group... ending up 2nd in the group means more often than not ur gona be up against one of the top top teams....
nobody wants to watch gibson or park, i feel sorry for the supporters who went to last nights champions league match to see very much a carling cup fielded team....
